MAKEUP T&C’S


Booking wedding day make-up:

1.We take a £100 non refundable deposit at the time of booking to confirm your wedding date. Paying this deposit is your agreement to our Terms and Conditions.

2.Your wedding date is confirmed only once we have received your deposit by credit/debit card payment or bank transfer.

3.Once the deposit is received you will receive a booking confirmation document confirming the details of your booking

4.The booking deposit is non refundable unless at the trial you don’t wish to go ahead with the booking. We allow a 2 day grace period after the trial if you wish to cancel the booking.

5.If your wedding is postponed the deposit can move across to 1 new date with no extra charge as long as we are available for your new date. The deposit however is not refundable.

6.Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email.

7.The Fee is always agreed via email, verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by the Company.

8.The Company reserves the right to cancel special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.

Travel expenses mainland UK:

9.The cost of travel is covered by the bride over 10 miles. Travel is charged at 0.45p a mile after 10 miles from our postcode and the same for the return journey.

10.Parking costs are chargeable to the client

11.Travel is calculated at the time of booking. We will send this over with your quote.

12.If we have to travel for more than 1.5 hours from our studio address for your wedding we will request you book accommodation the night before.

Travel expenses outside mainland UK:

Travel expenses for services booked outside of the mainland UK are incurred as follows:

13.To/From a UK train station, airport or port where the Team member(s) will be travelling from/to, including parking costs. If the journey to/from the train station, airport or port is with their own vehicle, 50p will be charged for every mile outside of a 10-mile road distance from the Studio.

14.Return rail tickets, flights and/or boat tickets are booked from/to convenient train stations, airports and/or ports. The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option.

15.All additional travel required at the destination related to provision of services at the Event.

Accommodation & subsistence expenses for bookings outside of mainland UK

16.For bookings outside of the mainland UK, for all, accommodation expenses within the mainland UK will be charged for trains, flights or boats leaving the mainland UK where the Team member would have to leave their home address on or before 6:30am.

17.Additional accommodation expenses at the destination of the Event may also be incurred however all accommodation expenses will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.

18.Accommodation should be at least a 3-star standard.

19.The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option.

20.If you are booking a destination wedding with us the travel costs may fluctuate. However we always keep travel costs as low as we can and will inform you of any changes.

Payment

21.Any payments made after the booking deposit (at your bridal trial or before the wedding) are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks before the wedding date.

22.We require a 50% deposit of the remaining balance at the trial, with the balance due three weeks before the wedding date.

23.During our busy months and on Saturdays, we reserve the right to require a minimum bridal booking party size.

24.If you need to reduce the size of your booking after paying the deposit, we can adjust it for you. However, the booking deposit is not adjustable once the booking is confirmed.

Client Responsibility

25.The Client is responsible for informing the Company and/or team member providing the service of any potential issues, such as medical conditions, allergies, and/or sensitivities. Neither the Company nor Team member can be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed the Company and/or Team member of any known conditions as stated above or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.

26.The Company and/or Team member reserves the right to cancel the Agreement if the Client's behavior is deemed inappropriate or if the Client reports a condition that the Company and/or Team member deems a risk to the Client's health and well-being. In these cases, any payments already made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.

27.Any skin condition or allergy should be reported to us prior to makeup application. If necessary, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test for any reactions.

Trial Makeup

28.The trial typically takes place 1-4 months before the wedding date and can be held either at our studio or at your home address. If your preferred location is your home, travel costs will apply.

29.During busy periods, we may not be able to schedule trials on weekends. We will inform you of our availability.

30.If you cancel your trial with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the full cost of the trial. You will also need to pay for a new trial date.

31.Time allocation for trials: The team can spend a maximum of 2 hours on any one trial for makeup. Any additional time required for trial sessions will have to be booked as a repeat trial.

32.If we are not satisfied with your makeup during the trial and choose not to proceed with your booking, we will refund your deposit minus the cost of the trial and any travel expenses.

33.If you request a second makeup and/or hair trial, the same fee as the first trial applies.

34: Our packages include a trial for the bride only. However, you can add trials for other members of the bridal party for an additional cost.

35: You are still responsible for paying for the makeup trial even if you decide not to book the artist for your wedding.

Company Responsibility

The Company will always strive to fulfil the Agreement to the best of its ability.

36.There may be circumstances beyond the control of the Company where a team member is unwell, delayed, or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such cases, the Company will inform the Client as soon as possible and make alternative arrangements if possible. The Company reserves the right to offer the Client compensation if it is unable to fulfil the Agreement. This will depend on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.

Cancellations

37.If the Company cancels a service, payments made by the Client will be fully refunded within 7 days of the cancellation.

38If the Client cancels a wedding service less than 6 weeks before the wedding, the full cost of the booking will be charged. For cancellations received before this time, all payments made except for trial sessions will be refunded within 7 days of the cancellation.

39.If the Client cancels a non-wedding service less than 2 weeks before the start date, the full cost of the booking will be charged.

40.If the Client cancels a non-wedding service before this time, full refunds will be given within 7 days of the cancellation.

41.If a service has been booked where the Company has paid for non-refundable travel and/or accommodation expenses, the Client will need to reimburse the Company in full for these costs if they cancel.

Photography & use of images

43.The Company will use photographic/video images of the Client, Party, and/or Event in promotional material unless the Client deny’s permission.

Additional important information

44.For bookings larger than the bride and 4 guests and/or bookings with limited preparation time, it may be necessary for more than one team member to attend, for which an additional fee will be charged. This will be communicated during the booking process.

45.Individual lash application is included in the price of the makeup service, and there is no reduction in price if declined.

46.Makeup services for Party members up to 12 years old include complimentary lip gloss, blusher, and shimmery eyeshadow application. If a more complete makeup service is required, the full bridesmaid's price will apply.

47.If more than 1 additional person will be attending a booking at the Studio with the Client, the Company must be informed during booking to ensure everyone can be comfortably accommodated.

48.Once the makeup is completed on the wedding day, the Company will check with the Client to ensure satisfaction. If the Client is not satisfied, reasonable changes will be made. No refunds will be given after the wedding date.
